Vet house calls for your dog or cat
Dr. Hershman will do house calls for special cases only. Please call Natural Vet for Pets, P.C. if you have any questions (ie: housebound geriatric clients or patients, euthanasia).
House calls are available in Rockland County, Westchester County, Bergen County and the Upper West and East sides of New York City.
- Do you have a dog that shakes with fear during the car ride to the vet?
- Do you have a cat that howls incessantly and fights being placed into the carrier for the trip to the vet?
- Do you have trouble finding the time to schedule a visit to your vet's office?
- Would you feel more comfortable having your dog or cat at home surrounded by family when it comes time to make that difficult decision for humane euthanasia?
By making house calls, Dr. Hershman is able to relieve the stress and fear that many nervous dogs and cats feel when having to "go to the vet."
What happens during a vet house call?
Dr. Hershman observes your pets in their home environment, making them feel comfortable. She administers homeopathic remedies and acupuncture while on their favorite bed or sofa. While at your home, Dr. Hershman performs a thorough examination, takes blood if necessary and performs diagnostic procedures. If additional tests are needed, they will be scheduled.
By making veterinary house calls, Natural Vet for Pets can save you time, stress and worry, while providing your pet with compassionate and high-quality care in the comfort of their home.
“To say taking Cleo to the vet is a struggle is an understatement. She hates being in closed spaces and hides whenever she even senses that you’re trying to catch her. Getting her into a kennel is almost impossible. Her sister Sienna hates car rides and howls incessantly.
Having Dr. Hershman make house calls for our cats, has made our lives so much easier and lets them receive wellness care. They are much happier and relaxed sitting on the bed or cat tree while Dr. Hershman examines them.”
